In this webinar hosted by Columbia University’s Center for Career Education, Ivy Link’s Adam Nguyen and Laurent Vasilescu shared up-to-date information about today’s business school admission process, including a candid discussion of why it is important to pursue not only a graduate degree in business, but also one from a top program. The webinar covered a variety of topics pertaining to the application process, such as finding your business school match, preparing for the GMAT, determining what is most important in the application and acing the interview.
Amid the uproar over Amy Chua’s Wall Street Journal essay, titled “Why Chinese Mothers Are Superior,” Adam Nguyen, Ivy Link’s Founder & CEO, published a response to Chua’s “tiger mom” parenting style in a Daily Caller article titled “Are Chinese Mothers Superior?”
Nguyen was also quoted in the legal blog AboveTheLaw.com: I agree with the idea of hard work and persistence — and that’s what I always preach to my students and parents. But I wonder about her [Chua's] definition of education and success….
